AAA & NRFD Team Together on Scott Thermal Cameras

New Rochelle Fire Dept with Captain Barry Nechis’ input supplemented their thermal camera program with 6 new State-of-the-Art Scott Eagle Attack Cameras.  These cameras will allow firefighters to be their “seeing eye dog” when visibility due to smoke conditions is negligible and perform rescues for firefighters and/or injured victims when necessary.

In addition, Thermal Imaging Technology can assist in other emergency scenarios faced by fire service personnel every day. The Scott Eagle Attack Thermal Imaging Cameras is a tactical lightweight thermal imaging camera. Its high-resolution design provides users with great image quality and functionality not normally available in lightweight imagers. Developed for on-the-job reliability, durability and ease-of-use, Eagle Attack is one of the lightest and most portable imagers in the industry.

The camera is equipped with an ample display, a high-degree dynamic range, class-leading resolution and high sensitivity for quick and easy fire analysis. The lithium ion battery provides six hours of runtime and the camera with battery weighs only 27 ounces.

Congratulations to the New Rochelle Fire Department and AAA Emergency looks forward to working with them in the future.
